# My Serum presets are not working

9 out of 10 times, simply updating **Serum** to the latest version will solve the issue. If you downloaded a preset pack that includes wavetables or sounds, ensure that they are placed in the correct folders. Please note, we **do not offer refunds** and are **not responsible** for any issues related to using cracked versions of Serum. Always make sure you're using a legitimate, up-to-date version.<br>
